Family Keepers with Extended Care has a 43,000 sqft building that is transitioning into a health and wellness facility and small business incubator. There will be a restaurant, juice bar, healthy vending shop with 15 locally owned small business filled vending machines. There will also be space for massage, fitness, beauty & aesthetics, meditation, mental health, etc. Much like Budd Dairy Food Hall all of the individual businesses will represent themselves and the building owned by the non profit will house them. The facility does not have a website that can function to grow with this concept. In order to be successful now, and properly prepared to grow, a website is needed to properly house and showcase the individual businesses without the nonprofit being responsible for constant upkeep. When they rent a space in the building the rental comes with access to a business owners portal in the Nonprofits website for the facility. That way the individual businesses could update their respective sections on the site and add information to the building comprehensive calendar that would be seen on the first page of the site.
Once the facility is at capacity for businesses and running consistent health and wellness programs the goal is to offer packages to corporations for employee appreciation or wellness initiatives. The ability to do that would need an Enterprise section for Corporate accounts to be able to track employee usage in the facility and to make sure independent businesses are compensated for their sales made under corporate contracts.
